We visit two places for wine tastings, both very different from each other. The wine tasting at the Union of Agricultural Co-operatives of Peza, where we taste wines and olive oils and we see a film about how the cooperative operates. The second winery, a pleasant experience and the wines are of finest quality; the winemaker knows his product and shared his knowledge. It is a chance to drink local wines so Cretan wines are the wines which will compliment the local food to the best advantage! Ending the visit at the second winery, an exceptional experience visiting a small vineyard an entree into a private world, a private property, where other people cannot go which provide insights into the lifestyle of the producer. We enjoy wandering in the vineyard and picking the salad ingredients for lunch which will be made into a great salad with local olive oil in the stable kitchen. The location, across the hillsides covered with grape vines and olive trees. It has great atmosphere and ambience.
