ITINERARY   
 
Day 1. ATHENS: Arrival: Reception at the airport. Transportation to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.  Accommodation Athens. (Dinner)
Day2. ATHENS:  Acropolis / Parthenon and the museum of Acropolis  Dinner at the hotel  Accommodation Athens. (Breakfast - Dinner)
Day 3. ATHENS:   The Cerameicus-The Agora-Acropolis South Slope and Cape Sounion All the sites are within easy walking distance of one another. The Cerameicus (the "potters quarter") reveals substantial remains of the original city wall as well as a splendid collection of funerary offerings in its museum. The Agora was the administrative and economic heart of democratic Athens. The South Slope of the Acropolis holds the Theater of Dionysus and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. Early afternoon drive to beautiful Cape Sounio and its dazzling temple to the sea god Poseidon. Dinner at the hotel Accommodation Athens. (Breakfast - Dinner)
Day 4. ATHENS / MACEDONIA – THESSALONICA: Drive north direction Thessaloniki. Arrival early afternoon. We visit the museum, which has extensive Macedonian and Hellenistic collections, and get to know Thessaloniki, a very unusual Greek city. It's more European than southern Greek. Accommodation Thessaloniki  (Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner)
Day 5. MACEDONIA – THESSALONICA – PHILIPPI - KAVALA: Ninety miles from Thessaloniki are the extensive ruins of the city of Philippi, which Paul visited in A.D. 50. It was one of the leading cities of Macedonia. Among the ruins is a most impressive Roman theatre. KAVALA (ancient NEAPOLIS). The city has a history that goes as back as 5000 years BC, according to the traces of prehistoric settlements that have been discovered in the small peninsula of the city. During the rule of king Philip 2nd the city declined and merely became the harbor of the Macedonian city of Phillipi. During the 9th century AD the city bares the name of Chiristoupoli (Christ’s City). The change in name may probably be attributed to the fact that Apostle Paul founded here the first Christian church in Europe. Back to Thessalonica. Day 6. MACEDONIATHESSALONIKI – DION - PELA: Dion at the foot of Mt. Olympus and just about forty miles from Thessaloniki. It was a key Roman colony in Augustus's time and has a wonderful museum. Pela the capital city Alexander’s the great. Accommodation Thessaloniki  (Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner)
Day 7. MACEDONIA / VERIA – VERGINA - KALAMBAKA Vergina has the tomb of Philip. Drive south west direction Meteora.  Accommodation Kalambaka  (Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner)
Day 8. MAINLAND / METEORA / DELPHI Visit the monasteries of Meteora and drive south direction DELPHI. Arrival. Accommodation Delphi.  (Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner)                
Day 9. MAINLAND & PELOPONESE Morning visit the museum and ruins of Delphi. Drive west GALAXIDI – NAFPAKTOS, pass the new bridge ANTIRIO – RIO and arrive to Peloponese. Arrival OLYMPIA late afternoon. Accommodation Olympia.  (Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner)
Day 10. PELOPONESE Morning visit the ruins and museum of ancient Olympia. Early noon drive across the Peloponese to Nafplion. We take two days in Nafplion (which the guide books call "the most beautiful city in Greece"). It's also conveniently located in the middle of the Argolis, an area rich in Bronze Age sites. Accommodation Nafplion  (Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner)
Day 11. PELOPONESE: NAFPLION / MYCENAE Mycenae, the legendary home of Agamemnon, the leader of the Greek forces at Troy. Accommodation Nafplion    (Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner)                           
Day 12. PELOPONESE: EPIDAVROS / NIGHT FERRY TRIP TO CRETE Morning, We do the sanctuary of the healing god Asklepeos and the famous theatre of Epidavros, early afternoon drive east direction Piraeus – the port of Athens. Arrival early afternoon, embarkation the boat and night ferry trip to Crete. Accommodation on board. (Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner)
Day 13. CRETE / THE  PALACE OF KNOSSOS Crete is the island of King Minos, whose name was borrowed to describe the Bronze Age period on the island (3000-1350 B.C.). Today, after arriving at 6:00 AM (!), breakfast and take our car to the site of Knossos, the mythical home of Minos himself and his "son," the Minotaur. Accommodation CRETE (Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner)  
 
Day 14. CRETE / SANTORINI / ATHENS Morning transportation to the boat and boat trip to Santorini. Arrival. Reception at the port and private tour of the island. Visit the ruins and the best points of the island. Join the famous Santorinian  SUN SET, transportation to the airport and flight to  Athens. Reception at the airport. Transportation to the hotel. Accommodation  Athens.  (Breakfast)
Day 15. ATHENS: Transportation hotel / airport. End of services(Breakfast)
